THE OBSESSION

OB.01 opened inside the dyno room at Speedworks with an Evo VI.5 tied into the rollers and a room built entirely around the obsession.What began as an idea around cars and sound quickly became something far more atmospheric once the doors closed and the room started filling up. Coffee moved constantly through industrial air carrying the smell of fuel, rubber and machines under pressure while conversations drifted between rally heritage, old motorsport stories and the sound waiting on the other side of the room.
The Evo VI.5 sat at the centre of it all — carbon fibre hood, white wheels, tied down at full load like it belonged there. Not displayed. Positioned almost like an artifact from another era of competition. The kind of machine that still makes people stop conversations mid-sentence once it comes alive.
Music carried through concrete walls while the dyno room shifted between silence and controlled chaos every time the rollers spun up. Cameras came out. People moved closer. Nobody really wanted to leave their spot once the room settled into rhythm. Outside the dyno room, the atmosphere carried through the entire evening. Coffee stations, session issue pieces, conversations around machines, and a crowd that arrived early and stayed longer than planned because the room felt different from anything else happening around the culture right now. OB Sessions was never designed to be another car meet or launch event. It was built around the feeling.

The feeling of standing inside a closed room with machines at full load, sound pushed too loud, and people gathering because they understand the obsession in exactly the same way you do.

OB.01 became the first chapter of that idea.
